This year we had the opportunity to award an Offensive and Defensive MVP's thanks to Warrior Lacrosse. Great Atlantic's Mac Hammer (UNC 01) earned the offensive MVY as he dominated the tournament with great midfield play and finishes. Mac received a Warrior Evolution Head as an award. Cape Fear played great team defense and in doing so it was Defenseman Mike Watson (Wingate 08) who showed up to play earning him the Defensive MVP award and a new Warrior Razor 2.0 head. Thanks to all the players and the MVP sponsor Warrior Lacrosse and Chip Mayer.

The 2007 Myrtle Beach Shootout Champions are the Cape Fear LC out of Wilmington, NC. After some poor organization years Cape Fear returned to Myrtle Beach with a message about Wilmington area lacrosse. They went 5-0 over the weekend with a team almost entirely made up of Wilmington area players.

The location for this years 4th Annual Myrtle Beach Shootout is the same as years past. The closest address is 101 Century Dir., Conway, SC 29526. Refreshments, food and tournament t-shirts will be available for purchase. Water will be provided for teams. Their are 2 port-a-jons on site for your restroom enjoyment.
